Yggdrasill (horse of the terrible one) the World Tree which Odin hung himself from to learn and make 18 magical charms. Also included is the Midgard-serpent, the snake which binds and poisons the earth.

I know that I hung
on a windy tree
nine whole nights,
wounded by a spear
and given to Odin,
myself to myself,
on the tree
of which no one knows
from whose roots it rises.
from Odin's Rune-verses from Havamal.

I know that I neglected to put in a spear, but I though it would look wierd.

another one done quickly with markers. I hope you guys like this.

At first I thought "That'd make a nice tattoo design". I'm not sure for who though. Not sure that I want Odin hanging on my arm. But that is all besides the point. It's a very clean picture. I miss the spear, but Odin looks like a drop of blood this way, which is much more aesthetically pleasing.

Badass drawing. Definitely. Looks amazing.
